Two Wonderful Years, Amy Lee Bradley I really thank my Lord that I have been in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) for the past two years. I will be graduating this year (2002) on June 29th. Lately, I have been reflecting on what has transpired during my time here and have been just amazed at what I have seen and learned and experienced. The Lord led me to come here to the Full-Time Training during my undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin. During my four years there I was attracted to some books written by the authors Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Some graduates of the Full-Time Training were serving the Lord by meeting with students like myself at school. I had freshly turned to the Lord before starting college and began to enjoy these meetings I had with them right away. We read books such as The All-Inclusive Christ, The Normal Christian Life, Lessons on Prayer, Sit, Walk, Stand, and several others that helped my Christian life very much. I began to know Christ, love Christ, and best of all, experience Christ in a consistent way. God was growing in me and I was the happiest I had ever been. So after a period of time it dawned on me that this training that these people who met with me had gone through must help you become the kind of person who can bring people to Christ. This was the beginning of my desire to come to the Full-Time Training. Then by the Lord's mercy and arrangement I was able to come in the Fall of 2000 after my college graduation. I came here just hoping to be made into someone who can bring other people to Christ and bring Christ to people. I don't know if I am that good at this yet, but I do see that God has given me the training that He knew I needed. The classes have been amazing. They are far better than any classes I had taken at the University. I have seen, little by little, a vision of who the Triune God is, what kind of plan He has for me and the rest of mankind, and even for the universe. I have learned how to practice opening my heart to Him and fellowship with Him through developing habits of having a morning time with the Lord, reading the Bible regularly and prayerfully, calling on His name in all kinds of circumstances, and singing to Him. Also, I have come to deeply appreciate the books of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, which open up the Bible in a way that is full of the light of life. Their ministry is full of Christ, and my spiritual appetite for their books has greatly increased. The more of their ministry I read, the more I am excited to read more. Every book has helped me to know the Lord in a deeper, richer way and has helped me to experience the Lord in my normal daily life. In a nutshell, I know the Lord much better and more intimately than I did before. I love Him more, and I am so happy to have given these two years to Him in the FTTA. I do not regret a day of it. In fact, it has been two of the best years of my life. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
